Established 2021 Blackball South Africa (BSA) is currently the controlling body of blackball in South Africa. A member of the South African Pool Union (SAPU) which is a member of All Africa Pool Association (AAPA). AAPA is the controlling body of pool in Africa and enjoys recognition from BLackball International (BI)  a member of the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA). WPA is a member of the world body of cue sports WCBS, the world governing body for the Billiards Sports of Carom, Pool and Snooker which is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The IOC is the guardian of the Olympic Games and the leader of the Olympic Movement  of the world.
